With the help of a gift from two alumni, the DePaul University College of Law has launched a new program aimed at providing a pathway for first-generation law students.

The Chicago law school’s new First Generation in Law Scholars Program (FGLP)​ is “very consistent with our mission of access to education,” Dean and Professor of Law Jennifer Rosato Perea, one of the first and longest-serving Latina law school deans in the country, told Law.com on Wednesday.
