US Chamber, States Back Dismissal of McKinsey's        Opioid Lawsuits

McKinsey & Co. plans to ask a federal judge later this month to dismiss most of the nearly 100 lawsuits brought by cities, counties, school districts and other entities alleging the firm helped promote opioids as a consultant to Purdue Pharma and others. U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer, who is overseeing the multidistrict litigation in the Northern District of California, has scheduled a March 31 hearing.
