University of Minnesota Law School is set to launch a new clinic in the fall offering name, image and likeness (NIL) legal assistance to students.

The purpose of the clinic is to help college students in the Upper Midwest region with NIL-related needs—such as negotiating sponsorships and endorsements—whether they be college athletes or social media influencers, according to a Minnesota Law spokesperson.
