Cannabis Lawyers Move to Institutionalize Nascent Client Base

It seems like every law firm has a cannabis practice these days. In a recent article, My Law.com colleague Justin Henry called marijuana the "practice du jour for Big Law."

But how do firms turn businesses or investors who need help with a cannabis-related issue into institutionalized clients who avail themselves of multiple practice groups? Some firms are "following a familiar playbook" in an attempt to do just that, Henry wrote.
