Experts have warned that the overturning of Roe v. Wade could dismantle other cases decided on privacy rights, including LGBTQ rights cases. In this week's episode, Law.com litigation reporter Brad Kutner spoke to two attorneys about the future of the legal fight for LGBTQ rights in America.
Li Nowlin-Sohl, a senior staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union's LGBTQ & HIV Project, and Sasha Buchert, a director of the Non-Binary and Trans Rights Project with Lambda Legal, noted the most important issues facing the LGBTQ community in the courts right now. The attorneys also discussed how future LGBTQ rights cases might be litigated after the striking down of Roe v. Wade.
