Despite the fact that they previously settled a motor vehicle injury suit filed against them by the other driver in a crash, a husband and wife are not barred from filing their own injury suit against that driver stemming from the same accident, the Tennessee Court of Appeals has ruled.

Lori and Michael Albers were involved in a car accident with Richard Powers in February 2020, according to the appeals court’s July 12 opinion.
