What happens when power goes unchecked? As Krishnan Nair explains on Law.com International, the results are the same, be it in politics or a law firm setting. The leaders surround themselves with "yes" people, small misdemeanors have no consequences leading to bigger sins.

These leaders make the rules on bullying, expenses, and work from home, but they don't follow them. Soon enough, the culture erodes and diversity of people and thinking disappears. In the end, failure to listen becomes the norm until no-one speaks truth to power. This often leads to truly egregious misconduct, and that's when it all comes crashing down.
