As Bankruptcy Hearing Moves Ahead, MDL Judge Voices Her Concerns

A bankruptcy judge in the Chapter 11 case of Aearo Technologies is set to wrap up a hearing Wednesday on whether to extend the automatic stay  to include its parent company, 3M, in lawsuits over combat earplugs.

The hearing, which addresses Aearo's motion for preliminary injunction before Chief Bankruptcy Judge Jeffrey Graham in Indianapolis, began Monday with a big dig against plaintiffs lawyers—specifically, the actions they've taken in the past 14 days.
