California Lawmakers Send Governor Bills on Weed in the Workplace, Cannabis Delivery

California's legislative session came to a close in the wee hours Thursday, wrapping up what was a productive eight months for the cannabis industry lobby.

Lawmakers sent the governor bills creating workplace protections for marijuana users, establishing groundwork for interstate cannabis commerce, and requiring cities to allow some type of medical marijuana delivery. They also defeated industry-opposed legislation requiring health-warning labels on cannabis products.
