PodcastEditor's Note: We'll be back next week with a new episode, but until then we're highlighting an important conversation from July.
One M&A transactional attorney is hoping a recent deal experience is a sign the practice area is diversifying. For the first 15 years of their careers, Amy Wollensack of Akin Gump and Renée Delphin-Rodriguez of Crowell & Moring weren't used to coming across very many fellow Black women in their work. Recently, Wollensack turned on her video call and was surprised to find Delphin-Rodriguez. Neither had experienced a deal led by Black women on both sides. In this week's episode, Law.com business of law reporter Bruce Love spoke to Wollensack and Delphin-Rodriguez about what the experience meant to them.
