A former Baltimore-based associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith is facing potential reciprocal discipline in Virginia after he agreed to an indefinite suspension in Maryland last month for alleged "misrepresentations" to a supervisor and client pertaining to a rejected unlawful detainer filing.

Brian Jeffrey Rosenberg, of Potomac, Maryland, has been ordered to appear before the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board on Sept. 23 to show cause why the same discipline that was imposed in Maryland should not be imposed in Virginia, according to its notice filed Sept. 2.
