Despite Bayer Victory, Roundup Plaintiffs Want More Trials

Bayer scored a fifth consecutive defense verdict in a trial over Monsanto's Roundup pesticide. The Sept. 1 verdict, which comes from a jury near Monsanto's headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, follows a month of testimony in the first trial involving multiple plaintiffs. The verdict is the fifth consecutive Roundup win for Bayer since courthouses reopened during the COVID-19 pandemic.
