Grace V.B. Garcia, a partner at Morrison Mahoney’s Boston office, has been elected president of the Massachusetts Bar Association for the upcoming membership year, the organization announced Sept 1.

Garcia plans to emphasize “communication, collaboration, and community” and intends to build on the state bar’s efforts to increase diversity and promote well-being in the legal professional, according to the bar’s press release.
