Q&A: Maryland Weighs Adult-Use Legalization With Question 4

Voters in Maryland will decide in November whether anyone 21 or older can possess and use marijuana. Question 4 is a simple measure, and it's expected to pass. But don't expect to see recreational-use dispensaries popping up right away.

I recently spoke with Justin Tepe, co-founder of the cannabis law practice at Goodell, DeVries, Leech & Dann, about what's happening with Maryland marijuana right now, what will happen if Question 4 passes and when, or if, we might see regulated adult-use sales in the Old Line State. Here are some snippets of the conversation, edited for lengthy and clarity.
