Drake University Law School in Des Moines has opened an on-campus food pantry for students struggling with food insecurity.

The idea for the pantry began in 2020 when Jack Schuler, who is now a 3L, purchased a $25 Hy-Vee gift card and asked Erin Lee Schneider, assistant dean for Student Services, to give it to a student who could not travel home for Thanksgiving.
