Law.com Compass: The Ambiguity of 'Hybrid' Work Arrangements
Young attorneys say they prefer a hybrid work model to a fully remote one, but appear uninterested in participating in the in-office part of the arrangement

ALM recently published the results of its Midlevel Associate (3rd-5th years) and Summer Associate Satisfaction Surveys. Among the key findings from both these surveys was the overwhelming preference among junior attorneys for a hybrid work model to become a long-term arrangement.
In fact, when polled earlier this year, 78% of midlevel associates indicated a preference for hybrid schedules, while 84% of summer associates would favor a hybrid approach when they work full-time in Big Law.
