The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School has begun a search for its next dean to succeed Theodore Ruger, who plans to step down in June after eight years as dean.

We are pleased to announce the formation of an ad hoc consultative committee to advise on the selection of the next dean of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School,” according to a statement dated Sept. 28 and posted in the Oct. 4 edition of the University of Pennsylvania Almanac.
