Theresa M. Beiner, who became the first permanent female dean of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law on July 1, 2018, has announced plans to step down at the end of the 2022-23 school year.

She will return to teaching, the school said in an announcement stating that the university has begun a national search for its next law dean.
