Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law announced Monday that it would no longer participate in the U.S. News & World Report education rankings, joining 16 other law schools.

Campbell Law is the first law school from the "No. 147-192″ tier of the U.S. News rankings to announce its nonparticipation.

Citing concerns with both the ranking's purpose and methodologies, Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard announced the decision to faculty, staff and students in an email Monday.
