Q&A: Connecticut Launches Recreational-Use Sales

Seven licensed dispensaries in Connecticut launched sales of recreational marijuana on Tuesday, making the Nutmeg State the fifth New England state to start adult-use sales. (What gives, New Hampshire?)

First accounts suggest sales went smoothly. By 5 p.m., the state had recorded $251,276 in non-medical marijuana purchases, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection.
