Biden Taps District Court Nominee–With GOP Senators' Approval

President Joe Biden announced his first round of judicial nominees for 2023 on Wednesday. The list includes his 6th nominee for the bench in a red or purple state.

Idaho Court of Appeals Judge Amanda Brailsford was selected for the District of Idaho and her confirmation is all but assured thanks to the return of blue slips from both of that state's Republican senators.
