The day before the deadline to submit data to U.S. News & World Report for the education rankings, another law school announces its decision not to participate—the 36th law school to do so.

Dean Dan Tokaji, the Fred W. & Vi Miller Dean and professor of law, at the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School, made a statement Thursday saying that the fact that US News will only use publicly available data “does not solve the problems with its ranking and, in one important respect, makes it worse.”
