There is a problem in corporate legal departments with transparency over outside counsel legal spend. Billing errors and expense violations spurred by a lack of time and resources for oversight are preventing legal leaders from effectively controlling legal spend. Having an effective Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCG) process and a team to monitor compliance allows your in-house team to save money on law firm bills and time by outsourcing administrative functions.
Join this webcast to learn exactly what OCGs are, how they can help control legal spend, and how to build an effective OCG process. Topics will cover:
- The importance of implementing and enforcing OCGs
- The most common legal billing issues and how to prevent them
- How outsourcing OCG compliance allows legal departments to focus solely on legal matters
