A Massachusetts attorney was publicly reprimanded for failing to prepare for a divorce trial, as well as for leaving sensitive documents in the lobby of her client's apartment building and improperly disclosing confidential information about that same client in a court filing.

In a Feb. 6 filing accompanying the reprimand and summarizing the facts of the case, the Board of Bar Overseers wrote that attorney Kelly Scibelli's "failure to prepare for trial, including her failure to prepare the exhibit books required for trial in August 2020, violated Mass. R. Prof. C. 1.1, 1.2(a) and (c), and 1.3."
