The University of Missouri-Kansas City announced Monday that Kansas City native Lumen “Lou” N. Mulligan will be the next dean of UMKC School of Law.

Mulligan, who currently serves as interim vice provost for faculty affairs at the University of Kansas and as the Earl B. Shurtz Research Professor of Law, will take over the deanship on July 10, according to UMKC’s announcement.
