Earlier this month, the U.S. News & World Report released its tentative 2023-24 “Best Law Schools” rankings for the so-called T14 schools. Now, however, after the publication delayed the full report indefinitely, it has also rescinded that preliminary list.

At 6 p.m. Friday, the publication posted a statement saying, “As U.S. News previously announced, we are dealing with an unprecedented number of inquiries during our embargo period for the 2023-2024 Best Graduate Schools, including requests from law and medical schools, to update data submitted after the collection period.”
