The State Bar of Michigan has produced a website for lawyers who wish to implement the LEAN system, a process improvement philosophy and system developed by Toyota that the bar says is being increasingly adopted by the legal industry, including firms such as Seyfarth Shaw and Clifford Chance.

“LEAN is a system designed to eliminate waste and inefficiency while also creating opportunities to increase quality while reducing costs,” the state bar said in a news release about its LEAN Resources website, which is found at michbar.org/LEAN.
