In a trust and estate case that has been ongoing since 1999, the Arizona Court of Appeals has sided with petitioners who argued their award was $190,000 short due to attorney fees that were improperly granted to an estate.

According to the appeals court's May 5 majority opinion penned by Judge Karl Eppich, appellants Leonard Karp and Annette Everlove objected to the Pima County Superior Court's denial of their Rule 60 motion, after attempting but failing to win appeals in years prior.
