The Maine Supreme Judicial Court is accepting comments on a proposed amendment to Rule 92 of the Maine Rules of Civil Procedure that would add consumer collection actions to the list of disputes that may be referred to the Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Service for mediation, the state high court recently announced.

The proposed amendment to Rule 92 regarding mediation is consistent with new legislation. Comments must be submitted to the Clerk of the Supreme Judicial Court by 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 1.
