The Oklahoma Supreme Court granted petitioners’ request for declaratory relief after determining two recently passed pieces of legislation regarding abortion were unconstitutional.

The majority determined in a May 31 opinion, that S.B. 1503 and H.B. 4327, two pieces of legislation passed by the Oklahoma legislature during the 2022 legislative session, were unconstitutional, granting petitioners’ motion for declaratory relief.
