Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton advised Fulton County elections officials for nearly two years before a decision this week that it could avoid a state takeover of its elections system related to former President Donald Trump's allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 race.

A four-lawyer Kilpatrick Townsend team, led by veteran litigation partner Michael Tyler, represented the Fulton County Board of Elections on the case, which ended Tuesday, June 20, with the Georgia State Election Board voting to end a performance review of the county's elections mechanism.
