The Idaho Supreme Court issued an order last week granting a motion to expedite a lawsuit against the state’s attorney general from the supporters of a ballot initiative to establish open primaries and ranked choice voting in the state.

Idahoans for Open Primaries and Reclaim Idaho brought a verified petition for writs of certiorari and mandamus against Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador earlier this month to challenge his proposed long and short ballot titles for the initiatives.
