The New York State Bar Association's Task Force on Advancing Diversity compiled a report and recommendations in response to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina and Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College that ends the use of affirmative action in college admissions.

The report recommends that institutions of higher education move away from standardized tests and grade point averages and instead focus on how an applicant furthers a college's or law school's goals and values.
