The U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit sided with the University of Rhode Island, dismissing students’ claims against the college over paying fees even after the campus shut down due to COVID-19.
The circuit court affirmed a district court’s dismissal of fee and unjust enrichment claims after hearing oral arguments in the case last month.
