The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit agreed to reconsider an appeals case for Idaho’s abortion ban with an en banc hearing, Chief Justice Mary H. Murguia said in a court order Oct. 10.

The court will rehear and determine if emergency room physicians will need to comply with the state’s abortion ban while also providing stabilizing care required under federal law for Medicare funding.
