A federal judge in Massachusetts denied a company's motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought against it over the sale of a multi-person bicycle to a woman and her business in Massachusetts, concluding the court had personal jurisdiction of the case.
In a Sept. 18 opinion, U.S. District Judge Denise J. Casper of the District of Massachusetts concluded that the court had personal jurisdiction of the case based on three sections of the state's long-arm statute.
