The University of Michigan Law School has appointed Kyle D. Logue, the Douglas A. Kahn Collegiate Professor of Law, as the school’s interim dean, effective Jan. 1.

Logue, who teaches introductory torts along with tax and insurance courses, currently serves as associate dean for Faculty and Research in Law, and will be succeeding Mark West, whose term is set to end Dec. 31 after leading UMichigan Law for more than 10 years, according to the school’s announcement.
