A raft of elite corporate law firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, Latham & Watkins and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, are advising on one of the biggest private equity deals of the year.

A private equity consortium made up Permira and Blackstone, together with fellow private equity firms General Atlantic and TCV, is set to acquire Ebay-backed listings business Adevinta following an offer of NOK140 billion, or 14 billion.
