Now for specifics. How do you generate new clients? If you've been in private practice for more than a week you would have heard a dozen different answers to this question — most of them incomplete. Not wrong, just not enough.

Yes, by all means, write blogs and develop a profile. Absolutely, go to networking events. Certainly, join associations and societies and make connections. Definitely, have an interesting bio. If colleagues tell you to do all these things, then listen up because it's good advice. Just not enough.
