The new year brings a new chapter of leadership to the Association of American Law Schools, as the outgoing president, Mark Alexander, is set to hand over the reins to the 2024 president, Melanie Wilson, during the AALS's annual meeting this week in Washington, D.C.

"I'm really delighted," Wilson, dean and Roy L. Steinheimer Jr. professor of law at Washington & Lee University School of Law, told Law.com last week. "It's quite an honor for me."
