The lawsuit alleged that former SRS employees used their protected, "one-of-a-kind" tools to help companies in mergers and acquisitions transactions in PNC's development of its own M&A products.

Escrow agent SRS Acquiom and PNC Bank have reached a settlement to end a yearslong trade secrets misappropriation litigation that started in 2019 and alleged that two former employees used confidential information at their new roles to help PNC to compete with their predecessor.
