A retired West Virginia Department of Transportation highway laborer has filed a workers' compensation lawsuit against his former employer, PPG Industries and the Sherwin-Williams Co., alleging that the high levels of toxic hydrocarbon-containing products he was exposed to on the job may have caused bladder cancer.
