The New York Law Journal is again recognizing the best and brightest in your community for the 2024 edition of the New York Legal Awards.
Who do you recommend?
Nominees for some of our many professional excellence categories will have their stories told both online and in a special print section. The winners will be honored on the big stage in September at a special event in Manhattan.
We're looking for the lawyers, firms and litigation departments who deserve recognition for influencing and inspiring the legal community in New York and beyond.
And this year, the Law Journal has added new categories: managing partner of the year, large law firm of the year and midsize law firm of the year.
A note about submissions: No more than three attorneys per category can be nominated from any one firm or organization. References to "past year" cover the period between Jan. 1, 2023, and May 1, 2024. We encourage you to choose a category whose criteria best aligns with the attorney's work and accomplishments.
The New York Law Journal takes a comprehensive approach to judging and we consider various factors when making decisions, including but not limited to the amount or significance of the issue at stake in the work described; the impact or innovative nature of the work; diversity; practice area; and pro bono work.
The New York Law Journal is committed to diversity and strongly encourages the legal community to highlight and promote their diverse attorneys when considering and preparing submissions.
