The International Criminal Court’s prosecutor is seeking arrest warrants for top Hamas and Israeli leaders on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity over the Hamas-led October 7 attack in Israel and the subsequent war in the Gaza strip, he announced Monday.
The prosecutor for the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan KC, has filed applications for arrest warrants against three Hamas leaders as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
