Happy Friday, and welcome to another roundup of the week’s news about the judiciary. As I’m sure you’ve heard, former D.C. Circuit Judge David Tatel’s book is hitting the shelves next month, and multiple outlets are reporting on Tatel’s views of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent rulings on voting rights, abortion and affirmative action. Here, we’ll take a look at another part of the memoir–Tatel’s experience and observations on law clerk hiring.

As always, please reach out to me at [email protected] with any tips or feedback and follow me on X at @AvalonZoppo.
