Arkansas State Claims Commission has decided to pass a dispute over a named professorship at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law to the circuit court, ruling the case is out of its jurisdiction.
The dispute traces back to September 2022, when UALR law professor Robert Steinbuch filed a complaint with the Arkansas State Claims Commission after failing to receive a named professorship for the 2022-23 academic year from then-Dean Theresa Beiner.
