Less than a month after suing to stop Johnson & Johnson’s potential third talc bankruptcy, lawyers for talc plaintiffs filed another class action Monday for women who want medical screening for ovarian cancer.
The case, which seeks medical monitoring for “future victims,” aims to retain claims outside of a Chapter 11 filing as Johnson & Johnson continues to gather the support of 75% of talc claimants to vote on a proposed bankruptcy plan by July 26.
