General Motors late Tuesday announced that it has hired Grant Dixton, a former legal chief at Activision Blizzard and at Boeing, to take the legal reins of the Detroit-based automaker.

Dixton, who at GM will have the title executive vice president and chief legal and public policy officer, succeeds Craig Glidden, who has been legal chief since 2015.
