A spokesperson with George Mason University said the institution intends to comply with recent demands from the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chair Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, who asked for more information relating to allegations that a former professor used his academic influence to seduce young women.
In a statement emailed to Law.com Wednesday, the university confirmed that it received a request from Foxx regarding more information regarding law professor Joshua Wright, who has been accused of using his position to seduce female students. George Mason said it “plans to comply thoroughly by the requested deadline of July 9,” according to the statement.
