For the second time in his four years as Boeing’s chief legal officer, Brett Gerry has helped strike a deal with the Department of Justice aimed at extricating the aircraft maker from a grave legal threat.
The Arlington, Virginia-based company has reached an agreement in principle on a plea agreement under which it would plead guilty to one felony count of conspiring to defraud the federal government, the DOJ said in a court filing late Sunday.
